A project for adventurers/ modern hunters and gatherers. I am born in a forest! A vision of a CO2-neutral village in the woods...
The sun was just starting to rise over the picturesque village nestled in the heart of the forest. The air was crisp and fresh, and the only sounds were the chirping of the birds and the rustling of leaves as the breeze picked up. In this village, people lived in harmony with nature, in a modern world that respected the environment.
The village was made up of houses built on stilts between the trees, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The houses had only one room, which was heated by a carbon dioxide-free system that used renewable energy. The houses were designed with ecological principles in mind, ensuring that the village had a minimal carbon footprint.
As the villagers began to stir, the excitement in the air was palpable. Today was the day they were setting out on a hunting and gathering expedition. They had heard rumors of an elusive creature that could only be found deep in the heart of the forest. They knew that it would be a challenging hunt, but the thrill of the chase was what they lived for.
The group consisted of seasoned hunters and gatherers, as well as some new recruits eager to prove themselves. They set off into the dense forest, their eyes scanning the trees for any sign of movement. They traveled deeper and deeper, the forest growing thicker and more foreboding as they went.
Suddenly, one of the hunters spotted movement up ahead. They signaled to the others, and they all crept forward, their senses on high alert. As they approached, they saw the creature they had been seeking: a magnificent stag with antlers as big as a man.
The hunters crouched low and readied their weapons, preparing for the hunt. The stag sensed their presence and bolted, and the chase was on. The hunters ran after the animal, dodging branches and jumping over logs, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.
The chase went on for what seemed like hours, but eventually, they cornered the stag in a clearing. The hunters circled around it, their weapons at the ready, and prepared to take it down. With a well-placed shot, the stag fell, and the hunters cheered in triumph.
But the adventure was far from over. As they made their way back to the village, they stumbled upon a hidden cave. It was filled with all kinds of treasures, including rare herbs, exotic fruits, and even some ancient artifacts.
The hunters knew that they had stumbled upon something truly special, and they spent the rest of the day exploring the cave and gathering its treasures. As the sun began to set, they made their way back to the village, exhausted but exhilarated by their day's adventure.
From that day on, the village's hunters and gatherers knew that they could find adventure and excitement right in their own backyard. They continued to explore the forest and uncover its secrets, always eager for their next great adventure, and living in harmony with nature in a modern and sustainable world.
Come on and let’s go into the forest and collect mushrooms!
